Lecturer in Strategic Management and Organization (m/f/d) (Freelance Work)

Strategic Management and Organization is a compulsory module of the Master of Business Administration (MBA). The module is taught in English language. Teaching materials are available.

The module covers the following topics:

Functions of business administration 

• History of business administration
• Scientific categorisation of business administration
• Operations and companies as the subject of business administration
• Constitutive business management decisions
• Overview of the company’s functional areas
  

Corporate Governance and Strategic Management

• Corporate management as a business management task
• Theories of corporate management
• The functions in the corporate management process
• Corporate management systems
• Fundamentals of strategic management
  

Organisation

• Objectives and tasks of the organisation
• Object and elements of organisational design
• Organisational units
• Traditional organisational models
• New organisational models

The module assessment is a case study (assignment), which is also to be supervised.

Your profile:

• You have several years of professional experience in the field of strategic management.
• You hold relevant degrees in the field of business and economics and a PhD or DBA.
• You already have several years of teaching experience at a university.
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in distance learning and in developing media-supported distance learning courses and study materials.
• You are fluent in English (level C1).
